Hey guys! I'm Liv. I am an avid reader of any and all YA books and the occasional adult fiction book that catches my eye. I run the blog Liv's Book Reviews which can be found at livsbookreviews.blogspot.com. I've been blogging for around a half a year now and am enjoying it immensely. I don't know if it's possible to name a favorite book, but included in my favorites are Looking For Alaska by John Green, Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, Model by Cheryl Diamond, A Little Friendly Advice by Siobhan Vivian, and The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I probably forgot about 100, but those are some books that I'm madly in love with. Other than that, I am pretty much your average high school girl. School, friends, reading, sports, music. That's my life in five words. Favorite music artists include Hellogoodbye, Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, John Mayer, and Rachel Yamagata. Random fact about me: tapioca pudding is maybe the best snack food type thing ever invented. I'm really hoping that this forum takes off because it's a cool idea to have a place for us book lovers to connect.

Hey! The Host is awesome, isn't it? I was just so blown away by it, atleast after I was over sixty pages into it I love Jason Mraz and Sara B. Those others don't do too much for me though

My mom's a John Mayer fan; we went to one of his concerts over the summer. Outside, thunderstorm. Yeah...only I'm weird. I don't mind getting soaked...
And I almost got to see Sara Bareilles; I'm pretty sure she was on tour with the Counting Crows and Maroon 5, but she wasn't at the Montage concert (that, or we missed her, since we got there late since we were only there to see the Counting Crows).

I got to see Sara Bareilles at a concert in my city in March was was cool. It was a super small venue and it was sold out which made for an interesting, and crowded experience. The good thing is, she's just as good live as she is on record.

I heard someone say that she wasn't as good...Hmm...just goes to show that performances vary. :-)
Yeah...small concerts are awesome. We went to two Lifehouse concerts that were really small venues, standing room only. Small venues or outdoors. Those are best. I wouldn't want to go to like a Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert or something where it's like so...huge, you know?
