Personally, I love the library. It's the only things that keeps my love of literature alive as I have no money to go and buy books. It's nice being a reviewer and receiving some books for free, but that's not enough for me. And besides having an enormous selection of books, my local library was just redone and it's now totally modern and awesome. The whole chain of libraries in my county is pretty great too. We had Meg Cabot come a while ago and that was a neat thing to go to. The only time I buy books is if I want to have them signed by an author who's in the area or if I completely loved the book and couldn't live without owning it. What are your thoughts?

Ahh. I love the library except mine is tiny. They're YA section sucks. Probably about 97% of the new teen books they recieved this year were donated by me. I pretty much doubled their recent teen section.
I do love it though. The librarians are great and I hang out there a lot.

I love my library! I live right by the main branch of the city so it has a pretty decent YA section. Also the teen librarian runs a book group for teens that reads and review books that came out in the current year.
Without the library I would not have my love of reading. My parents don't really buy books especially in english since they don't speak the language so the library was the only way to get books when I was younger. Now my personal library is expanded but it would not be there without the library.

I love the library- it's amazing. Before my site, I used to go to the library all the time, but I don't really need it now due to my massive pile of books. lol.
I also buy books every so often if I want it really badly. Usually I just buy paperbacks but occasionally I buy hardcovers if I really want it, or if the author is signing (like I bought Wicked Lovely hardcover cuz Melissa was doing a signing nearby).

I love mine too. It doesn't have the greatest teen section and there's only three librians but it's still my favorite place. They held a writing contest earlier this year and I won $100. We also have a teen book club that meets the third Wednesday of every week and over the summer, they did a teen writing thing.
So I love it. I'm trying to improve their teen section so other readers have more of a selection, though.
But I agree, without the library, I would not have my love of books.

Ahh, libraries are amazing things. We have a bookmobile that we go to every other Saturday. I have books put on hold and sent there and I really enjoy going. It could be my second home ;D
