Oh come on, this is a teen books forum and there isn't a thread about Meg Cabot yet?! Anyway, talk about your favorite Meg books, and just how generally awesome she is, lol. I'm so excited for the last Princess Diaries book, esp. since it's going to be over 400 pages long!!! As well as the adult book written by Mia that'll be out the same day as PD10.

I'm excited for the last Princess Diaries book. I mean, so I sort of skipped all but the first, second, and ninth books, and the only reason I read the ninth was that I won a copy, but still. I'm excited for the last book.
I'm rereading "All-American Girl"; it's probably my favorite of hers that I've read, and I haven't read a lot. I've only like in the past year started to appreciate Meg Cabot's books. And I love reading her blog; she's so funny.

lol, you really should read all 9 books before reading the 10th. This would be the perfect time to do so cuz then you won't have to wait too long before the 10th is released. It'll get you more excited for it.

Yeah...but that requires me spending money I don't have...though I've been meaning to get around to reading them all. Mainly, why I stopped reading them is I read the first two when I was ten and well, it wasn't my fault the movie was Disney-fied! But yeah...I was a ten-year-old who didn't like anything that was even the slightest PG-13, so...I sort of determined that Meg Cabot wrote very dirty books (yeah...) but I started reading her books more recently and really enjoy them

I love Meg Cabot! She's written some really great books. I adored the Mediator series so much; Jesse is one of my favorite fictional guys. I read some of the Princess Diaries books a while back but they got a little monotonous after a while for me. I definitely want to try reading them again at some point because they're sort of modern chick-lit classics. I've also read All American Girl, Ready or Not, Jinx, and Victoria and the Rogue. My favorite of her books is probably Airhead. I'm definitely looking forward to Being Nikki. The whole concept of that series is soooo neat! I want to read the Boy Next Door Series at some point too...

I LOVE her Mediator series. Jesse is awesome. They're my favorite books by her, I think. I also love Jinx, Airhead, and How to be Popular. I've read some of the PD series but I can't remember which ones and I'm just too lazy to reread any of them. I'll probably get around to it sooner or later. I can't wait for Being Nikki or any of her other upcoming books. I love the 1-800 series though I've only read the first two

The library is a great option if you want to read a long series. I've pretty much read and loved all of her books. Can't wait for her upcoming books too!

Ahh. They only have in her newer books (Jinx, Airhead) and the Mediator series, as well as the PD series. The only others they have (this would include the 1-800 series) are the ones I gave them so I can't really go there to get the rest

Unfortunately, bookchic, my library doesn't actually have the entire series.
Ooh...I really liked "Airhead" and can't wait for "Being Nikki".
I didn't really like "Jinx" all that much; it was lacking. Well...and Jean annoyed me.

Aw, I loved Jinx- so suspenseful, I thought.
And that sucks about your library- I guess I'm pretty much spoiled when it comes to libraries, lol. But I would've thought they'd at least have the whole PD series because of how popular it is. That's so weird.

Well...the county-wide system probably has the whole series, but the library that I go doesn't. The library has like no Meg Cabot books.

So maybe you could do interlibrary loan? That's what I always did.

I've been considering that but I'll probably just end up buying the books and donating them to the library eventually.

Well, I could go to any of the libraries in the county, but honestly, it's probably easier to just buy the books. I also have this thing against the library; I only when go necessary.

Ah ok. I love the library and used to utilize it whenever possible since I never had enough money to really buy all the books I wanted. But now I have too many books, lol, so there's not really a huge need to go.
